Day 12: Healing

“He sends forth His Word and heals them and delivers them from their destruction.” - Psalm 107:29 (AMPC)

Faith always begins where the will of God is known. In order for us to receive our healing, we need to believe, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that God wants us well. No one can receive something they don’t believe belongs to them. They will always hesitate in the receiving if they don’t believe it is theirs. As blood bought children of God, healing belongs to us - it is our covenant right. I Peter 2:24 tell us that “By His stripes, we were healed.”

If God didn’t want us well, He wouldn’t have anointed Jesus to go about doing good and healing all. (Acts 10:38) When it comes to our healing, we have to make a choice everyday, sometimes every minute, to believe God’s Word over what our bodies are saying. Medical science can be wonderful and they are committed to people being well, but they are limited in what they can do. They are human and humans are limited, but not our God! With men, it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.

When conditions in our body are contrary to His Word, that’s not the time to question if the Word is working. That is the time to dig in deeper and immerse ourselves in God’s healing Word. This is how we all have to live, but not all are committed to living this way. Proverbs 4: 23 tell us that God’s Word is healing and health to all of our flesh. God’s Word is medicine to our bodies. If you are currently taking medicine, mix faith with it and take a healing Scripture with it too. “By His stripes, I was healed.”  Isaiah 53:5

Our words are the building blocks we build our lives and our future on. Sow words of health and healing into your future by agreeing with what God says about your covenant right to healing.

Today’s Declaration

Body, I speak the word of faith to you! I believe God’s Word and His Word says that healing belongs to me. Satan, I give you no right to take what is rightfully mine! With confidence and boldness I say, on the authority of God’s Word, that I am redeemed from the curse of sickness. I hold fast to my confession of faith in God’s Word and I believe I have health and healing now in Jesus Name!
