At International Family Church all are welcome regardless of your age, economic or ethnic background. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that make up IFC.
1. What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting for the first time we will not single you out, make you stand up in front of people or ask you to give money. We realize that many people would rather stay to themselves while they check out a church for the first time - and that’s fine with us! However, if you would like assistance with your first visit our Guest Services team is stationed throughout the parking lot to point you toward special reserved parking and in the building to help out if needed.
2. What should I wear?
You’ll see everything from casual clothes to business suits at our services. Whatever makes you comfortable is alright with us. At IFC, we are more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear.
3. Where are you located?
International Family Church is conveniently located ½ mile off exit 33 (old exit 39) on route 93 in North Reading, MA. Step-by-step driving directions are available here. We're right in the middle between Boston (16 miles) and the New Hampshire border (18 miles).
4. Where do I go when I get there?
The majority of our parking and our main entrance is located at the rear of our building. This entrance leads into our first-floor lobby The entrance at the front of the building leads into the second-floor lobby which is where all of our Kids World classrooms and our Cafe are located. Our Guest Services team is located throughout the building to point you in the right direction if needed.
5. What’s available for my kids (ages 0-10)?
Kids World is available for all ages 0-10 in both our 9:00 and 11:00 AM service. Find out more at the Kids World page!
6. What’s available for my junior high and high school age children?
Our middle schoolers (5th, 6th and 7th grades) meet every Sunday during the 11:00 AM worship experience in the Remnant classroom. This is located on the first floor, and our Guest Services team will be happy to direct you when you arrive. All 8th through 12th grade students are welcome to join with their family and friends in the adult worship experience.
7. How can I meet others and get connected?
There are several ways to get involved and meet other people. The best place to begin is our Growth Track. Life Groups are also a great way to connect. In each of these you’ll be able to grow in your faith, build friendships and learn more about IFC.
8. How can I get involved in a Life Group?
It’s easy to get started in a Life Group. A Life Group is a small gathering of people that meet on a regular basis who share similar interests, are at a similar stage in life or have experience in an area you would like to learn more about. Most of all, a life group can become a place where people know more than just your name. They are people that genuinely care about what is happening in your life as well. Life Groups run on a two semester schedule. The Fall Semester runs from September to December and the Spring Semester runs from March to June.
9. How can I be discipled and grow?
Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. The International Family Church Growth Track offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. You can begin the process at any step in our Growth Track.
